Situated in Stalis, Skalidis Apartments Stalis offers free Wi-Fi, a garden with a terrace and garden views.

The apartment features air conditioning, a patio, dining area and living area with smart flat-screen TV. You will also find a fridge, kettle, coffee maker and private bathroom with shower.

Skalidis Apartments Stalis is just 15 meters from the beach. The nearest airport is Heraklion Airport, 27 km away from the accommodation and the center of Heraklion is only 35 km away.

The apartment has simple furnishings and beautiful views of the patio. Features a kitchenette with mini fridge, electric kettle and cooking hobs. An external shower is also included.

By taxi: Taxis are readily waiting outside the ferry boat as you disembark. The route to Stalis should last about 30 minutes and costs approximately 40 Euro.

By bus: Exit the port from the central gate and cross the street opposite. Walk less than 300 meters to the right to find the Central Bus Stop (KTEL Heraklion - Lassithi). Any bus departing to Stalis, Malia, Ag.Nikolaos, Ierapetra, Sitia, all pass from Stalis. The route lasts 50-55 minutes and costs 4,5 Euro per person.

In general, buses to Stalis are departing from 08:00 until 21:00 every 30 minutes, throughout the year. Depending on season and whether weekday or weekend, there may be buses earlier or later and on a more or less regular basis. By taxi: Taxis are readily waiting outside the airport. The route to Hersonissos should last about 25 minutes and costs approximately 40 Euro.

By bus: Exit the airport to the right and cross the street opposite. Find the KTEL Bus Stop and take any green bus to Stalis, Malia, Ag.Nikolaos, Ierapetra or Sitia.  The route lasts 40 minutes and costs about 4,5 Euro per person.

On the National Road from Heraklion to Agios Nikolaos, as soon as you reach beach road Stalis, turn left from the I Resort Hotel & Spa and continue 240 meters, you will see on your right hand Ocean Bar & Restaurant, Irish House just opposite you will see our apartment, next to a bar Faces. Most likely some one will waiting for you to give you the key and give you information for a nice and pleasant stay.

When you arrive in Stalis, dining out is something you do not have to concern yourselves with. You will find plenty of options in the many traditional taverns and restaurants in and around Stalis. Those staying for a short time will, most certainly, at least once either choose one of the locations on Stalis seafront, or pay a must visit to the uphill picturesque of Mochos, Kera, and Krasi for a typical Cretan meal.

For those keen to explore further afield popular fish taverns can be found in the villages of Analipsi, Sissi, Plaka, and Elounda. All our guests have the opportunity to self cater by using the apartments' fully equipped kitchenettes.

Supermarkets, fruit and vegetable, and grocery stores, are but a few minutes walk away and are open until late in the evening (including Sundays). Finally, if after an exhausting day spent at the beach or sightseeing, you choose to stay in and relax without the burden of cooking, food for delivery  on order is readily available from many establishments offering a wide range of both genuine local and international dishes at reasonable prices.

Reservation via bank transfer is possible by proceeding to a bank deposit of 30% of total reservation amount. Please contact us for bank account details in this case. We will send you a formal reservation confirmation via e-mail as soon as the bank transfer is completed.

All of the apartments are suitable for families with up to 2 children.  All though at the moment no baby cot can be placed in any apartment.  The use of a baby cot is not taken into account when calculating the number of children an apartment can sleep.

Families with 3 children (and 2 Adults parents) can not serve them, as there are no children's beds. The maximum occupancy of each apartment is 4 persons, including children.

Stalis, Hersonissos and Malia area provides a full range of activities and services, that are able to meet any expectation. Sea sports are offered at the central beach and at other organized beaches in the area. Two big water parks (Acqua Plus & Watercity),  the newly built Aquarium, and the Crete Golf Club can be found within 10 - 20 km range from the apartments.

The city center itself includes all kinds of shops, rentals (car, motorbike, bicycle) and tourist bureau for excursions. Tennis courts, go karting, the Aquaworld Aquarium, the Lychnostatis Open Air Cretan Museum and a small water park can be found within the limits of the Stalis area. The traditional villages of Mochos, Kera, Krasi, Old Chersonissos, Koutouloufari and Piskopiano are only a few km's up the hill and are worth visiting.

Heraklion, the capital city of Crete is only 35 km away from Stalis. Heraklion and Knossos Minoan Antiquities (7km south of Heraklion) are mostly recommended for visiting while in Crete.

To visit Knossos by bus, you will have to switch buses at the KTEL Central Bus Station in Heraklion which is opposite Heraklion's Port.

Plenty of short excursions can be planned while staying at our apartments. For those who like to move around, we recommend renting a car for a number of days, in order to enjoy access to truly limitless options. The diversity of the landscape around Crete will reward your every effort.

Moving east, Sissi, Milatos, Plaka & Elounda (Spinalonga Island), Agios Nikolaos and Kritsa are all within 35 km range.

Take the road south to Avdou or Mochos for reaching the Lassithi Plateau (30 km) and visit the Diktaion Cave.

Continue your day in the inland after visiting Knossos Palace (31 km), to Peza region, the heart of viniculture in Crete. The Wine Roads of Crete will drive you through the villages of Skalani, Archanes, Peza with plenty of options for gastronomy tastes. Visit N.Kazantzakis Museum at his birthplace, the nearby village of Myrtia.

Move further south of Heraklion to visit Festos Minoan Palace & Matala or Agia Galini, the village of Anogeia at Psiloritis (Mount Idi). Move further west of Heraklion and head to Fodele, Agia Pelagia, Rethymno and Hania.
